Andexus provides an API for sending and receiving SMS data through our messaging gateway. This allows your own development team to write applications specific to your business and your business problem.

Andexus provides full API documentation and various development helper libraries. Currently the libraries we have available are: ASP.net, Coldfusion 9, PHP, Java, Python, Ruby Gem, and C#. Additional resources may be available upon request.

Andexus cannot provision short codes to any of our users, as an independent body called the CSCA issues short codes in the United States. However, we can help our clients apply and obtain leases on short codes through the CSCA. We offer help in obtaining short codes at no cost to our clients. Long codes can be provisioned by Andexus at no cost. Our API will work with either short or long codes.

The Andexus messaging gateway is web based and can be set to either receive and transmit data as HTTP GET or POST requests. Our API works as a web-service, allowing existing web programming experience to suffice for building applications on our system.

Any application simply sending and recieving SMS data through the Andexus messaging gateway are charged for usage only. Rates are based upon volume, but do not require contractual commitments unless special rates are negotiated.
